I love to travel and I love to help others to travel. Mother of 5 children, yep 5 I have had home businesses with my husband but Solara Expeditions is my own venture. I love the outdoors, hiking, skiing, kayaking, biking.

How did you get into the wedding industry, and what's kept you here?

I found I love the excitement weddings and honeymoons create. Every day is different, every couple is different.

What do you wish more couples knew before they started planning?

Save money for the honeymoon and go somewhere you never thought you’d get to.

What's something about your business that most clients are surprised to learn?

When there is a problem, my clients call me, and guess what I answer my own phone.

What does a great day at work look like for you?

A full appointment list of excited couples ready to design their wedding and honeymoon. Oh and a large cup of coffee

What's a piece of advice you'd give to couples feeling overwhelmed by the planning process?

When it comes to travel and honeymoons, give me ideas, I need to get to know the couple so I can plan the trip of their dreams

I love couples who love a bit of adventure mixed in with romantic quiet moments

What's a wedding moment you witnessed that you'll never forget?

At one wedding as the couple were coming into the church they were met with all the grandparents It was beautiful

hike, go to the coast, play with my grandkids

I am dual citizen Australian
