Our Vision

Wedding shows should work for the people who make them possible

We built this as a vendor-first event. Not in theory. In practice.

The goal is a show vendors actually want to return to because it’s organized, well-attended, thoughtfully marketed, and run by people invested in their success. That means balanced categories, intentional layouts, and an attendee experience that supports real conversations instead of rushed ones.

We put real money into advertising, brand awareness, and audience quality, focused on bringing in couples who are actively planning and ready to connect. Vendors get clear communication, realistic expectations, post-show insights, and education, not just a booth and a good-luck.

To be the show vendors compare every other show to. The one they renew because it felt worth it.

We don’t claim to be flawless, but we’re relentless about improving, listening, and doing better every year. If you want a show that treats vendors as partners rather than line items, you’re in the right place.

Signed Sealed Rewarded 1

Signed, Sealed, & Rewarded

To help drive on-site bookings, we’ll be promoting Signed, Sealed, & Rewarded before and during the Salem Wedding Show.

Couples who sign a contract and place a deposit with an exhibiting vendor during the show can enter for a chance to win back 10% of their contract (up to $250). This gives you a strong, built-in incentive to help close sales on the spot.

If one of your booked couples is selected as a winner, we will pay the awarded amount directly to you (the vendor) approximately 30 days prior to the couple’s wedding date.

Each contract a couple signs counts as an additional entry, increasing their chances of winning.

Questions

Exhibitor FAQs

Why should I exhibit?

It’s one of the most effective ways to connect with couples who are actively planning and ready to book. They get to see, taste, or experience what you offer and meet you in person, something an ad or website can’t replicate. Beyond the weekend, you get exposure on our website, a post-show lead list, and a chance to grow your referral base with other pros.

What are the requirements to exhibit?

We like to see businesses at least one year old (or with a year of experience in their category or the wedding industry) and an active website. We review your online presence, including social and reviews, for a well-rounded picture. Acceptance is based on category availability and fit. Some categories fill quickly and may have a waiting list.

Will I get to choose my booth location?

Choosing your exact location is an optional upgrade at registration. We’ll consider general preferences and do our best during placement, but there are no guarantees. Sponsors choose first, then Choose-Your-Booth vendors pick in sign-up order. The upgrade is limited to 30 exhibitors. Same-category vendors are spaced at least 10 feet apart, not counting aisles.

How long do I have to sign up?

Space is limited. Registration officially closes two weeks before the show, but we often sell out well in advance, especially venues, photography, and planners. The earlier you sign up, the better your chances of a spot in your category.

Do I have to pay everything upfront?

No. You can choose a payment plan or pay in full during registration. Plan options vary depending on how close to the show you register.

Can I participate if my business is not wedding-specific?

It depends. We focus on wedding businesses but accept vendors closely tied to the experience, such as bachelorette parties, rehearsal dinners, honeymoons, registries, or health and beauty. We typically don’t accept general lifestyle or post-wedding services like roofing, real estate, or financial advising. Non-wedding-specific businesses are considered case by case.

Can I buy the attendee list without exhibiting?

No. The attendee list is reserved for participating exhibitors and is never sold or shared with non-exhibitors. If you receive an email offering to sell our attendee list, it’s a scam. The only legitimate list comes directly from us, and only to official exhibitors after the show.

How do you advertise the show?

Social media, Google ads, billboards, Spotify, radio, and postcards at vendor storefronts. Facebook and Instagram are most active, but we use a mix of digital, print, and in-person. We set aside about 25% of total booth sales for advertising, pooling vendor resources into a campaign that drives couples through the doors.

Venue Discovery Area

$250 (non-exhibiting venues) / $150 (exhibiting venues)

One of our goals with The Salem Wedding Show is to represent a wide range of wedding venues from across the region. We also recognize that full participation with a staffed booth may not always be feasible for every venue, whether due to distance, staffing limitations, or venue category capacity for the show.

Exclusive to our shows, the Venue Discovery Area is a dedicated space designed to introduce couples to venues that may not be exhibiting with a full booth. This area allows venues to maintain a presence at the show while giving couples an easy way to discover and explore venue options they may not have otherwise encountered.

Venues participating in the Venue Discovery Area may display:

  • One sign (Retractable Banner, X-Stand, or Tension Fabric Display, up to 81” tall x 36” wide)
  • One cocktail table for brochures, cards, flyers, and printed materials. (Cocktail table and linen provided)

Materials may be shipped to us in advance of the show.

The Venue Discovery Area is intended to be a self-guided discovery space for attendees. Representatives from participating venues will not be permitted to staff this area during public show hours.

The Marketplace

$300

We recognize that the investment required for a standard 10 x 10 booth may be out of reach for some micro-businesses, small-scale experiential providers, and product-based vendors.

Marketplace participants will be grouped together in a designated area of the show floor and will be provided with: one 8-foot table with linen, 2 chairs, and exhibit space limited to the tabletop only.

These are not full booth spaces. Marketplace exhibitors will not receive a listing in the vendor directory; will not be provided electricity; will not receive the attendee list after the show; must keep all products, displays, and materials on or under the table; may not place signage on the floor or hang signage from pipe and drape; and may not sample or sell any food or beverage items.

The Marketplace is intended exclusively for: micro-businesses, handmade or small-batch product vendors, or vendors selling lower-price items at the show with minimal anticipated post-show sales. The Marketplace is not available to generally recognized wedding service categories, and all Marketplace applications are subject to review and approval to ensure the area remains aligned with its intended purpose.
